In a typical project, there is no charge for the pre-contract steps. Fees are charged only for work done in the post-contract phase, beginning at a mutually-agreed “kickoff” date.
We work under a variety of pricing models:
- Fixed price —in most projects, where we can reasonably estimate the amount of work that is required, we will provide you with a fixed cost contract.
- Time & Materials Pricing —if a project or environment has many unknowns, for example, integrating old servers, workstations, and homegrown or customized software together with a new server and network infrastructure, we generally price on a time and materials basis. This is because we cannot predict what will need to be done until we actually begin working with the existing infrastructure/applications that were not built or installed by us.
- Recurring Pricing --We provide ongoing maintenance and support on a banked hours basis. You would purchase a block of support hours. As we provide the monthly onsite maintenance and other support work, we deduct the time from the banked hours. We provide you a monthly status report of the work that has been done for you.
